Decom shows documentary about Argentine poet

The Department of Social Communication (Decom), at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN), will screen the documentary Alberto Greco – Obra fora de Catálogo, by Argentine director and visual artist Paula Pellejero.
Linked to the Argentine informalism of the 1950s, Alberto Greco is considered an artist with a profoundly revolutionary trajectory for Argentine and Spanish contemporary art. The artist follows an artistic path that crosses painting, tango, urban action and poetry, even publishing a manifesto in which he proclaims that the vitality of art is found in the street.
Visual artist Paula Pellejero decided to produce a documentary with Alberto Greco in the 2000s, when she was enchanted by the work developed by the Argentine artist. The session will feature debates and conversations about Alberto Greco. The meeting will take place next Tuesday, 9th, at 7pm, in the Decom auditorium, and the entire academic community can participate.
