Deart holds last event meeting on contemporary art

The 1st Cycle of Conversations Perspectives on Contemporary Art: gender and invisibilities will hold its last meeting next Friday, the 13th. The event is organized by the Department of Arts (Deart) together with the UFRN Art and Culture Center (NAC). The conversation will take place via the Google Meet platform and will start at 6pm. Interested parties can register via Sigaa and will later have access to the link to participate.
The event, in its last meeting, will be attended by Biarritzzz (CE), a bachelor in Social Sciences from the Federal Rural University of Pernambuco (UFRPE) and a transmedia artist who works with video art, digital art, sound art and videomapping. Biarritzzz developed an interest in moving images, the world of the internet and pop and digital culture from childhood. Within this universe, it investigates the problems of dissident bodies and minds in new media, the politics of meme, the languages ​​and encryptions of these tools of power. The conversation will be mediated by Malena Mendes, researcher and cultural educator, graduating from the Bachelor's degree in Art History at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS).
The 1st Cycle of Perspective Conversations in Contemporary Art: gender and invisibilities is coordinated by professor Bettina Rupp (Deart) and will have a team of Libra interpreters to carry out simultaneous translation.
