The Department of Arts (Deart) of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN) is holding the IX UFRN Visual Arts Week between the 6th and 10th of May. The event has taken place annually since 2010 and is an academic action planned and organized by a team of teachers and students, with the participation of artists and curators from the city of Natal and open to the community of Rio Grande do Norte.
The Visual Arts Week proposes an exchange of knowledge, ideas and experiences between students, teachers and speakers, who work in the Brazilian art circuit, seeking to debate various current issues, such as environmental degradation, economic and political collapses and gender discrimination.
