Deart and DGE hold an event combining Geography and Art

The Department of Geography (DGE) in partnership with the Department of Arts (Deart), both from the Center for Human Sciences and Arts (CCHLA), promote the event When the Artistic becomes Geographic. The action takes place this Tuesday, 13th, at 7:30 pm, in room E of the Deart annex building. The initiative is organized by the Masking in Urban Spaces Study Group, which carries out interdisciplinary activities.
For the organizers of the action, as fields capable of establishing an interesting, plural and motivating dialogue, Geography and Art together express the possibility of constituting experiments that transcend the limits of formally constituted academic reasoning, which entangle the experiences lived spatio-artistically.
The purpose of the event is to show the possibility of understanding that Geography and Art are transversal to human life in its multiple dimensions, and that involve creations that can be literary, sound, related to dance, theater, cartoons, architecture, sculpture, painting, cinema, design, gastronomy, photography, cartography, among other creations.
To participate in the activity, it is not necessary to register in advance, just show up at the event time.
