Announcement

We inform you that, at the end of last year, 37 specimens were planted and those that died were replanted. New trees were planted in the CCHLA forest, as well as another 50 native plants for shading, distributed in the spaces of Sector II. In addition to these actions, we planned the gardens and expanded the green areas with tropical flowers.
As we can see, the soil is being prepared for planting lawn, on the embankment and in the area of the old canteen in Sector II.
Furthermore, the Infrastructure Superintendence, through the Environment Directorate, extracted weeds from all olive trees around the CCHLA.
The CCHLA Management will develop the Reus-AR project, which consists of reusing water from air conditioners to irrigate gardens and trees in Sector II, an experience that will begin with Block I.
The questioned area refers to the location where the Sector II amphitheater will be built, the project for which was completed on April 30, 2010. After seven years, the current Management obtained resources for its construction, a long-standing demand from the CCHLA academic community. The work contract was signed on 01/20/2017, with legal provision for immediate beginning upon signing of the aforementioned document. The deadline for completing the amphitheater is six months.
Therefore, we hope that the amphitheater can be another teaching-learning space, an area for coexistence and cultural events, etc.
