The Permanent Competition Center (Comperve), at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN), carries out a selection process for admission to the Literature course, with qualifications in Brazilian Sign Language (Libras)/Portuguese Language. Registration will be available exclusively via the Internet, from 8 am on October 24th until 11:59 pm on November 21st.
40 vacancies are offered, 75% of which are reserved for deaf candidates, who can prove, through a report, that they are disabled. In addition, half of the places are reserved for applicants who have completed high school in public schools.
Candidates will be submitted to the Specific Ability Verification Test (THE), consisting of a Practical Essay in Brazilian Sign Language, of an eliminatory nature. The topic of the essay will be related to “Deaf studies and their contexts”.
Candidates who have a High School Completion Certificate (or equivalent course) can participate. The tests will be administered from December 5th to 8th. The registration fee is R$30.00 (with the possibility of exemption – check the notice).
