The Electoral Commission designated by ordinance No. 065/2019 – CCHLA, of March 7, 2019, published in Service Bulletin No. 045/2019, of March 8, 2019, chosen at the 1st Ordinary Meeting of the Center Council of the Center for Human Sciences, Letters and Arts – CONSEC/CCHLA, of February 22, 2019, comes by means of this note, in the use of its powers, based on art. 6, item V, c/c art. 15, art. 24 and Annex 3 of Resolution No. 001/2019 – CONSEC/CCHLA, of April 1, 2019, which deals with the Internal Rules for the Election of Director and Deputy Director of CCHLA for the Quadrennial 2019/2023, as well as, based on the Principles of Publicity of Acts, Democracy and Transparency, disclose to everyone interested parties and the general public in the result of the Public Consultation for the Choice of CCHLA Directors for the Quadrennial 2019/2023, held yesterday, April 23, 2019, from 8 am to 9 pm, via the SigEleição system, according to the report issued by the system, which is attached:
1. In total, 1,499 voters from the three segments that make up the CCHLA voted, with 249 votes from teachers, 97 votes from administrative technicians and 1,153 votes from students.
2. Of the 1,499 voters, the following numbers were obtained overall:
1,488 valid votes;
8 blank votes; and
3 null votes
3. The total number of valid votes per category was as follows:
246 valid votes from teachers;
95 valid votes from administrative technicians; and
1,147 valid votes from students.
4. Of the total valid votes:
4.1 – Panel 01 – Participation and Visibility, composed of teachers: Maria das Graças Soares Rodrigues from the Department of Literature and Josenildo Soares Bezerra from the Department of Social Communication, obtained 687 valid votes, distributed by category as follows:
150 votes from teachers;
43 votes from administrative technicians; and
494 student votes.
4.2 – Panel 02 – Humanities, Innovation and Transparency, composed of teachers: Sebastião Faustino Pereira Filho from the Department of Social Communication and Sérgio Luís Rizzo Dela-Sávia from the Department of Philosophy, received a total of 801 votes from the total number of valid votes, distributed by category in this way:
96 votes from teachers;
52 votes from administrative technicians; and
687 student votes.
5. The categories that make up the CCHLA, as established in the electoral rules, more specifically in its art. 15, had the following weights in the Public Consultation:
Teaching Staff: the category will have a weight of 70%;
Technical-Administrative Servers: the category will have a weight of 15%;
Students: the category will have a weight of 15%.
6. The Final Argument of each Candidate was calculated, taking into account the weights of the categories, according to the weighted average described in the Calculation Guide, in accordance with the provisions of Annex 3 of the Electoral Rules, with the Candidate that obtained the highest average being considered the winner of the Election. Therefore, the averages obtained by Chapas and, therefore, their final arguments were:
Plate 01 – 185.55 points; and
Plate 02 – 172.95 points.
7. In this way, Plate 01 – Participation and Visibility was declared the winner of the Public Consultation.
