Education Center holds Seminar on sensoriality

The Department of Fundamentals and Policies of Education, at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN), is holding the 1st Study Seminar in the field of Sensoriality: Education and Human Rights for people with blindness, low vision, deaf, deaf and deafblind people from August 14th to 16th, with the opening in the Rectory's auditorium and other meetings in the Education Center (CE) of UFRN. Students and parents of students are expected, as well as teachers, psychologists, students, educational psychologists and other professionals interested in the area.
This seminar's central objective is to debate issues related to pedagogical practice from the perspective of inclusive education and human rights, with a view to expanding affirmative policies that not only ensure the constitutional rights of people with sensory disabilities, but that guarantee the execution of actions that promote the recognition of their ability to contribute significantly and qualitatively in different areas.
During the event, the aim is to create a state forum to discuss and propose affirmative policies in favor of the education of people with sensory disabilities in Rio Grande do Norte, the proposal of new extension projects aimed at the continued training of teachers in the public education network in the area, the publication of lectures and works presented in the event's annals and subsequent publication in periodicals in the area of ​​special education.

UFRN offers face-to-face training for employees

   The Dean of People Management (Progesp), at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN), opens, this Thursday, the 7th, registration of employees for face-to-face training.
