Education Center promotes another Cultural Friday

The Education Center (CE) promotes, on Friday, the 27th, Cultural Friday, with the launch of the ebook Pedagogical Stories, organized by professors Luzia Guacira and Andrialex Silva. The event is in celebration of September 21st (National Day of Mourning for People with Disabilities). After the launch, there will be a musical performance by the duo of musicians Gesse and José. The event takes place at 7pm, in the CE auditorium. Open to the general public, no prior registration is required.
According to professor Luzia Guacira, the book Pedagogical Stories is a compilation of stories written by pedagogy students. “It is a bit of a systematization of the methodological path of inclusive research and, in its preparation, the strategy was to make the pedagogy student think about students with disabilities based on their own reality and potential, considering a list of questions already thought up by scholars, which were worked on in the classroom”, he comments.
"The purpose is to build a formative environment in the cultural and aesthetic dimensions of our future teachers. This is the idea: to build a systematic proposal of events and activities that provoke the cultural aesthetic formation of our students around these cultural artistic themes that can help them in sensitive training and contribute to their teaching production", explains Jefferson Alves, director of CE.
The action has existed for four years and takes place on the last Friday of each month, promoting a cultural activity that mobilizes students interested in watching an artistic performance and debating creative processes.
