UFRN Human Rights Center launches documentary

The Marcos Dionísio Reference Center for Human Rights, at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN), promotes the launch of the documentary A Rua Grita Dionísios, on May 23, at 6:30 pm, in the Auditorium of the Zila Mamede Central Library (BCZM), UFRN's central campus. The event will feature an opening ceremony, followed by the screening of the documentary and a subsequent debate on the production process with the filmmaking team, covering topics such as culture in human rights and public security in contemporary times.
The film reports the trajectory of human rights activism of Marcos Dionísio Medeiros Caldas, based on a subjective and feminine narrative that weaves the points of intersection between Marcos' life story and the current crisis of violence and social inequality in Rio Grande do Norte.
