The Revision and Layout Sector of the Center for Human Sciences, Letters and Arts (CCHLA) promotes on August 19th, at 2pm, the first edition of the “Segunda da Prosa” event. The meeting, which will be held in Auditorium D of CCHLA, aims to bring together authors and disseminate works of scientific knowledge.
At the premiere of the event, the work “The Notion of Text” by Jean-Michel Adam (2022) will be discussed, which addresses text analysis with a perspective that goes beyond traditional linguistic tools, moving towards semiotics and semiology.
Registration for the event can be made via SIGAA or via email Segundadaprosa.cchla@gmail.com, by sending a declaration of affiliation. Participants will receive a certificate with a four-hour workload.
According to Karla Oliveira, project coordinator at CCHLA, the initiative aims to popularize the knowledge produced at the university, expanding access to scientific knowledge in different areas of society. “What is being proposed is to bring together authors of published works and people interested in a certain topic, in scientific dissemination events, to talk and democratize access to scientific knowledge,” he said.
The work is available in the UFRN Repository. It can be accessed through the link https://repositorio.ufrn.br/handle/123456789/44991
