The Center for Human Sciences, Letters and Arts (CCHLA), in partnership with Agecom, EDUFRN and Sedis, is holding the fifth meeting of the Cycle of studies on text revision for beginners, on October 24, 2023, at 2 pm, in auditorium B of the CCHLA. Registration is available through Sigaa.
The Study Cycle aims to be a space for discussion about text revision as a field of professional activity for graduates of Literature and Journalism courses, Portuguese language teachers in basic education and others interested in revision activities. It understands text revision as a process that improves the text, including linguistic (spelling, syntactic and semantic) and discursive adjustments in resolving actions and in dialogue with the author.
This edition, which will be the last in 2023, is another action in conjunction with those developed in the four previous meetings of the Cycle and in the two workshops already held. However, to participate, it is not necessary to have attended the other meetings, as the discussions are independent at each meeting.
