CCHLA promotes Study Cycle on Text Revision for Beginners

Starting next Monday, April 3, the Center for Human Sciences, Letters and Arts (CCHLA) at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN) opens registrations for the Study Cycle on Text Revision for Beginners. The program will have eight meetings, with a workload of four hours. The activities take place between April and December, in CCHLA auditoriums. During the study cycle, participants will have the opportunity to acquire pedagogical and professional knowledge, focused mainly on the discussion of teaching the Portuguese language and social practices of both reading and writing, as well as text review. It is an activity that consists of the detailed analysis of the content, structure and form of a text, with the aim of detecting and correcting errors in grammar, spelling, punctuation, agreement, cohesion and coherence.
The cycle of studies on textual revision was created to assist, preferably, undergraduate students in Literature and Journalism. In addition, it focuses on Portuguese language teachers from the public education network who address the activity of revising texts.
