CCHLA and CE of UFRN discuss the CNE's new proposals for undergraduate courses

In a meeting with coordinators of degree courses and the CCHLA Management, promoted by the Coordination of Degrees of the Education Center (CORDELICE) on May 9th, the increase in the workload of degrees by 400 hours was discussed, where 1/5 is the responsibility of the disciplines and activities in the areas of education and the rest is up to the specificities. These changes were imposed by the National Education Council last year and the resolution must be carried out by all educational institutions in the country by next year.
Starting today, at 10 am, the academic advisory team, under the command of professor Sergio Luis Rizzo Dela Savia from the Philosophy department, will begin isolated meetings with each collegiate and Structuring Teaching Center (NDE) of each course. The Center for Human Sciences, Letters and Arts currently has 15 degrees.
In the meantime, there will be a meeting on May 31st for professor Valéria Lazaro de Carvalho from EMUFRN to present her proposal on how the 400h was expanded in the music degree course. There will be the participation of professor Laís Guaraldo from DEART who will present her proposal to create an arts school in which the student would have practical experience of the subjects covered in the arts courses.
The academic advisor will also meet with the Dean of Undergraduate Studies to discuss the offer of a subject in postgraduate programs, both master's and doctorate, for students who are scholarship holders to study a subject focused on teaching.
The CCHLA Management and the coordination of the UFRN CE degree course discuss proposals to implement the guidelines imposed by the CNE for degree courses.
