CCHLA publishes rules for electing the General Management

Dear Teachers, Students and Administrative Technicians,
The Electoral Commission designated by ordinance No. 11/2023 – CCHLA, of February 2, 2023, published in Service Bulletin No. 024/2023, of February 3, 2023, chosen at the 10th Ordinary Meeting of the Center Council of the Center for Human Sciences, Letters and Arts – CON-SEC/CCHLA – of December 7, 2022, in the use of its powers, informs that the rules for the Election for the CCHLA Board of Directors for the four-year period 2023/2027 are available on the Center's institutional portal. The document contains information about the electoral process, the requirements for candidacy, the method of voting and the electoral calendar that follows:
I – From April 1st to April 9th, 2023: deadline for registering candidate lists;
II – On April 10, 2023: approval of the registrations of the candidate lists;
III – April 11, 2023: deadline for filing an appeal against the approval of registrations;
IV – From April 12 to April 18, 2023: electoral campaign period;
V – On April 19, 2023: carrying out the consultation, in a single voting shift, from 8 am to 9 pm, uninterruptedly;
VI – On April 20, 2023: counting of votes and immediate publication of the result;
VII – The deadline for lodging an appeal against the result of the consultation begins immediately after its publication;
VIII – The deadline for the Electoral Commission to decide on any appeal filed is 24 hours;
IX – Within 24 hours after analyzing the resources, the definitive result of the Consultation must be proclaimed;
X – Em 26 de abril de 2023, a Comissão Eleitoral encaminhará o resultado definitivo da Consulta Pública ao Conselho de Centro do Centro de Ciências Humanas, Letras e Artes – CONSEC/CCHLA – que iniciará o processo de confecção da Lista Tríplice a ser encaminhada ao Reitor.
The Electoral Commission requests wide dissemination of the rules among members of the CCHLA academic community and invites everyone to participate in the democratic choice of the Center's new management. It also takes advantage of the opportunity and provides, as an annex, the internal rules of the electoral process, containing the application for registration of a ticket and the term of commitment.
