UFRN's Magna Class addresses Artificial Intelligence

   The challenges for professionals facing the tools of the contemporary world will be addressed in the master class at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN), alluding to the official opening of the first academic semester of 2019, which will be held on March 22, at 9 am, in the Rectory auditorium.
   With the theme of Computational Intelligence and its Impacts on the World of Work, the class will be taught by professor Fernando Antônio Gomes Gomide, author of three published books and more than 100 research studies published in the form of articles or book chapters. Within the theme, aspects such as big data and artificial intelligence will be addressed, and the impact of this on the job market.

   Full professor at the Department of Computer Engineering and Industrial Automation, at the State University of Campinas, Fernando Antônio Campos Gomide has a degree in Electrical Engineering from the Polytechnic Institute of the Pontifical Catholic University of Minas Gerais, a master's degree in Electrical Engineering from the State University of Campinas and a PhD in Systems Engineering from Case Western Reserve University.
