NAC Atelier offers drawing and painting courses

The Art and Culture Center (NAC), at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN), will promote, throughout the second semester of 2019, another edition of the Atelier de Artes' painting and drawing courses. The initiative is an extension action aimed at all people interested in having practical contact with art and developing painting and drawing techniques. No experience is necessary to participate.
Registration for the courses can be made next week, between the 22nd and 26th of July, through the Integrated Academic Activities Management System (Sigaa). If you have difficulty with the online registration process, interested parties can register in person, during the same period mentioned above, by going to the NAC Arts Atelier, located at the Djalma Marinho Community Center, UFRN's central campus.
Seven different courses are offered: Drawing and Painting for Children (ages 7 to 10), Drawing and Painting for Children and Teenagers (ages 11 to 15), Introduction to Artistic Drawing, Drawing Topics, Acrylic Painting, Watercolor Painting and Introduction to the History of Visual Arts. The courses last 15 weeks, with classes available in three shifts: morning, afternoon and evening. The investment value is R$90, for evening courses, and R$120, for morning and afternoon courses, with the exception of the Introduction to the History of Visual Arts course, which costs R$120, regardless of the time. Places are limited.
At the end of the course, students will have the opportunity to showcase their work in an exhibition organized by the NAC.
