Agecom selects Journalism and Literature scholarships

The UFRN Communication Agency (Agecom), linked to the Communication Superintendence (Comunica), is in the process of selecting scholarship holders to act as open text reviewers. One place is available to start in April and two for reserve registration. The opportunity is aimed at regularly enrolled students of the Portuguese Literature and Social Communication – Journalism courses at UFRN who can telework and have completed at least three periods. The selection will have two stages: analysis of class history and CV and interview. Registration runs from April 3rd to April 9th ​​and must be completed by filling out this form.
At Agecom, the fellow will review the news produced by journalists and journalism students for dissemination to the university community and external audiences, such as those included daily on the website and in the UFRN News bulletin, special articles and texts sent to other news outlets. The workload will be 20 hours per week (four hours per day). The value of the scholarship is R$400.
During registration, in addition to including basic information in the questionnaire, candidates need to attach a history of the subjects studied and a resume of work in the review area or portfolio, if available. Students without professional experience can also participate in the selection. The interviews will take place between April 11th and 14th, at a time to be informed via email to those registered on April 10th. The result will be announced by April 18th.
Considering Resolution No. 169/2008-Consepe, of December 2, 2008, and Resolution No. 222/2010-Consepe, of December 7, 2010, the student competing for the scholarship cannot have an employment relationship or be the beneficiary of another scholarship, except food and transportation, or any type of financial aid from public or private bodies. The student must be in a need situation, according to socioeconomic criteria, of an eliminatory nature.
