The Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN), in partnership with the Directorate of Bilingual Education Policies for the Deaf (Dipes/Semesp/MEC), makes public the selection process for remaining vacancies in the 2nd edition of the Education and Bilingual Education Projects for the Deaf extension course. The course is offered in a virtual format and is expected to last six months (from November 2022 to June 2023), totaling 180 class hours. Registration is open until 5pm on September 10th using the form .
138 vacancies are offered, with 50% guaranteed for deaf candidates with knowledge of Libras. The course is aimed at graduates of undergraduate courses, undergraduate and pedagogy students, and public or private basic education professionals (managers, technicians and teachers).
The training is free and will feature synchronous and asynchronous classes. Its central purpose is to promote continued training of teachers who work in basic education, equipping them to investigate the most appropriate foundations, principles and pedagogical practices for the implementation of Education and Bilingual Education Projects for the Deaf in Basic Education.
The action is the result of coordination between teachers and researchers in bilingual education, who have a unified initial planning of a pedagogical and administrative nature, to be carried out by team members jointly, through partnerships.
The start of classes is scheduled for September 19th, via YouTube. The partial result will be published on September 13th, on the CCHLA portal.
