Round table debates the history of the Northeast and the 1930 Revolution

The event “The Northeast and 1930: ninety years of ruptures and continuities”, promoted by the Postgraduate Programs in History at UFRN, UFPB, UFRPE and Fundação Casa de José Américo, will begin this Friday, the 24th. The opening table will be broadcast from 9:30 am on the event's social networks.
The event has a program with round tables that aim to revisit the decades from 1920 to 1940 in the Northeast and in Brazil, establishing debates on the reconfigurations of society and the State in this period, with the central focus being the so-called “Revolution of 1930”, presenting new perspectives on the economic, political and cultural aspects related to this set of transformations, as well as highlighting the permanence of these processes for Brazil in the 21st century.
