The 5th National Text Review Forum, hosted this year at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN), will be held this week, on the 24th and 25th of November, in a hybrid format (in-person and online). The event will bring together students, teachers, researchers and professionals to discuss the panorama of text review and the reviewer's role in Brazil.
On the first day of the event, four sessions will be held, namely: Session 1 (in-person; from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm), Session 2 (online; from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm), Session 3 (online; from 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm) and Session 4 (online; from 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm). On the second day, the other two sessions will take place: Session 5 (in-person; from 11 am to 12:30 pm) and Session 6 (online; from 11 am to 12:30 pm). In addition, on the 25th there will also be in-person workshops (from 8am to 11am) and online (from 8am to 11am).
Those interested in the Forum could submit their work until September 30th, or register as listeners until November 11th. Each type of participation (listener/communication) had specific registration fees according to the category.
On its Instagram (@forumrevisaodetextos), the Forum organization highlights the importance of using masks for facial protection during the event's in-person activities. This is due to the recent increase in Covid-19 cases in the state and country. To check more information, check out their Instagram page as well as their official website.
