2nd edition of the National Children's Theater Symposium continues until Friday at UFRN

The second edition of the National Children's Theater Symposium, promoted by the Department of Arts (Deart) at UFRN, began today, the 4th. The event takes place in in-person and remote formats and runs until the 7th. The program lasts 4 pm.
The meeting opened at 9am, at Teatro Laboratório Jesiel Figueredo/Deart with the theme “Resonances of children’s and youth theater in Brazil”. Also today, the musical performance “Folia dos tres bois” also took place in the Auditorium of the School of Music/EMUFRN.
On the second day, tomorrow, several workshops with the theme of theatrical games will be held, starting at 8am, in the Deart Practical Classroom. At 4pm, the Baobá Theater Group will perform “The Calligraphy of Dona Sofia” in the School of Music Auditorium. To end the day, Virtual Working Groups (GTV) will be held remotely, at 7:30 pm.
On the third day, Thursday, there are also several workshops from 8 am in the Deart Practical Classroom. At 2pm, the artistic presentation “The maiden who goes to war” will be held in the outdoor space of the Arts Department. From 4pm onwards, shows take place in the external space next to the Annex, which are: artistic experimentation “Playfulness and Dance”, “Pocket Show by Laura Jalles” and “Memórias do Breu”.
On the last day, the Awakening Workshop “The art of theatrical games” will take place at the Childhood Education Center (NEI/UFRN), at 8am. Then, at 10am, the Sara & Nine Doll Show will take place, also at NEI. In the same place, at 11 am, there will be the play “The enchanted dream of Álmos”. In the afternoon, several workshops will be held in the theoretical classroom, at 2pm. At 4pm, there will be the Kombinart artistic intervention in the Deart's outdoor space, and at 7pm the event ends.
