PPGEM hosts the XVIII International Seminar on Transformative Methodologies of the AMLAT Network

The Postgraduate Program in Media Studies (PPGEM/UFRN) hosts the XVIII International Seminar on Transformative Methodologies of the AMLAT Network between the 25th and 29th of November 2024. Promoted by the Pragma Research Group (CNPq/PPGEM/UFRN), in partnership with the General Coordination of the AMLAT Network, the Technological Innovation in Health laboratory (LAIS/UFRN) and the Postgraduate Program in Management and Innovation in Health (PPgGIS/UFRN), the event will have the theme “Communication, health, citizenship and the environment: transdisciplinary perspectives” and will feature a broad program.
The official opening of the event takes place on November 25th, at 5 pm, with a conference in the SEDIS/UFRN auditorium, on the Lagoa Nova Campus, in Natal. During the 26th, 27th and 28th of November, from 9am to 6pm, 19 thematic tables will be held in the SEDIS auditorium, bringing together researchers from more than 20 research groups and Ibero-American universities. At this seminar, countries such as Brazil, Ecuador, Colombia, Venezuela, Argentina, Peru, Uruguay, Chile, Portugal and Spain will be represented.
On the evening of Wednesday, 27/11, at 7pm, the round table “Women in Communication: theories and perspectives” stands out, in the Labcom auditorium, in the Department of Communication (Decom). Closing the seminar's activities, November 29th brings to the public the AMLAT Network Student Research Meeting, with seven tables presenting doctoral, master's and scientific initiation research from students from the various research groups linked to the AMLAT Network.
