The UFRN Postgraduate Program in Geography (PPGe/UFRN) has extended registrations for the Lato Sensu Course “Environmental Management and Territorial Intelligence” under the coordination of Prof. Dr. Rodrigo de Freitas Amorim.
Registration remains open until April 19, 2026, via the Integrated Academic Management System: SIGAA with a registration fee of R$50.00 (fifty reais). According to item 5.1 of the notice, the candidate must send proof of payment to the course secretariat via email at espgestaoterritorial@gmail.com by April 20, 2026.
With the new schedule, the course is scheduled to begin on May 21, 2026. Classes will take place on Thursdays and Fridays, in the evening, and on Saturdays, in the morning, in a blended format. The investment is R$290 per month during the period of the course.
The specialization aims to train professionals with a high level of improvement to work in the areas of consultancy and advisory: environmental and territorial, in public and private institutions, using new territorial and artificial intelligence tools, digital cartography, remote sensing, BI – Business Intelligence, use of drones. Focusing on territorial analyses, Environmental Impact Assessment, preparation of a waste management plan, licensing, database construction, audits and environmental expertise.
The course is structured in 3 semesters, with subjects focused on technical, strategic and applied training in the environmental and territorial area.
