The information collected here will be used in the academic environment, which will help to develop more friendly and efficient interfaces for you in the future.
It aims to expose the different types of visual pollution present in the interfaces of digital vehicles, such as websites, portals and APPs, which compromises the user's usability and consequently their user experience (UX). In the real world, there are already regulations that deal with visual pollution, as in the case of the streets of a city, but not in the digital environment, considered in this regard as a free and lawless territory, with developers not always relying on common sense and good practices in relation to what to present to their audience, such as quantity of advertising, banners, readability, visual stimuli, warnings, elements on screen, volume and information architecture. This multidisciplinary study, which involves the areas of communication and design, seeks to highlight the problem of visual pollution in interfaces and its consequences for the user, proposing paths and solutions for their adaptation and evolution.
