GEORISCO Research Group opens selection process for scholarship holder

GEORISCO, a research group from the Department of Geography at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN), has an open selection process to select a graduating scholarship holder, preferably Social Communication – Audiovisual students.  The scholarship has a value of R$700 per month and lasts for 12 months, starting immediately.
The vacancy is aimed at students with a profile in video production and editing, as well as skills in scientific communication. The scholarship holder will be responsible for recording the activities of the Natal Municipal Risk Reduction Plan (PMRR-NATAL), a partnership with the federal government and Fiocruz. The project aims to map the risk areas of Natal and propose urban intervention measures to minimize disaster risks.
Main activities:

Record project activities;
Prepare posts for dissemination on social media;
Create scientific dissemination posters;
Accompany researchers in the field and conduct interviews.

Requirements:

Be studying Social Communication – Audiovisual from the 3rd semester onwards;
Have good writing;
Practice in video production and editing (mastery of editing software);
Knowledge of tools such as Canva;
Skill in transmitting and recording video conferences;
Familiarity with social networks and willingness to work in a team.
