Ceres opens selection for master's degree in Geography

The Postgraduate Program in Geography (Geoceres/UFRN), linked to the Center for Human Sciences, Letters and Arts (CCHLA/UFRN) and the Seridó Higher Education Center (Ceres/UFRN), has an open call for selection of new students. Admission takes place in the semester 2025.1. 30 places are offered for a master's degree, carried out in person, in Caicó/RN. The registration deadline is October 31, 2024.
Graduates who have an affinity for the themes researched by the program can apply, especially graduates in Geography. Geoceres has a concentration area in Space and Landscape in the Northeastern Semiarid Region. It has the lines of research Socio-Spatial Dynamics of the Northeastern Semi-Arid; and Structure and Dynamics of Landscapes in the Semi-Arid.
Registration is carried out exclusively online, via Sigaa. Copies of your ID, CPF, higher education diploma, undergraduate transcript and updated Lattes CV must be sent. If the candidate competes in the category of affirmative vacancies, the documentation must be supplemented with supporting records, such as a medical report or the Administrative Register of Indigenous Birth (RANI), for example.
For greater privacy, the result of each stage of the selection process will be published in a PDF document containing only the candidate's registration number. The disclosure will be announced through news in the candidate's area on the Program's electronic page.
