Registration open for short course on autobiographies and participatory audiovisual research

Registration is now open for the short course “Autobiographies and Participatory Audiovisual Research”, which will take place on October 10th and 11th, 2024, at the UFRN Central Campus, Sector 2, Room C5. The event will be attended by the renowned Dr. José Ribeiro from the Institute for Research in Design Media and Culture at the Instituto Politécnico do Cávado e do Ave (ID+IPCA, Portugal).
The mini-course will be divided into two days: on the 10th, activities take place from 5:40 pm to 9:30 pm, and on the 11th, from 8:55 am to 12:30 pm and from 2:30 pm to 6 pm and have a total workload of 15 hours.
Participants will have the opportunity to explore connections between arts, social sciences, education, cinema and social communication, exploring theoretical and practical debates about autobiographies and autosociobiographies in Social Communication, Visual Anthropology, Cinema, Education, and Visual Culture. In addition, Research Methods and Techniques will be covered in visual, sound and audiovisual formats.
