This event, which we entitled “Saramago and the Saramagoians: tribute to Conceição Flores”, is a meeting for enjoyment, dialogue, critical reflection and celebration of two works: that of writer José Saramago and that of professor Conceição Flores. Proposed by the Study Group on Romance and in collaboration with the Portuguese Literature area of the Literature/Portuguese Language course at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte, the program is simple but interested in contributing to the review and opening of new perspectives on Saramagui's work and experiences of a memorial nature. sociology, philosophy, language, culture and related arts, among other possibilities raised by José Saramago's literature. This is also an opportunity to come into contact with the work developed by those who think about literary work and offer their readers other expansions different from those we can find individually when interacting with literary reading. From here, we can aspire to the formation of points of view that are important to social developments, after all, free dialogue and the formation of an interrogative reality are essential for this, to have two of the various possibilities raised by literature.
