Proex shows films from the II Cultural Caravan Audiovisual Exhibition

The Dean of Extension (Proex) of UFRN promoted, on the afternoon of this Tuesday, July 1st, the public screening of the films selected for the II Audiovisual Exhibition Cultural Caravan/UFRN, bringing together filmmakers, guests and the university community in a moment of celebration of student audiovisual production. The event took place in the Auditorium of the Center for Studies and Research in Applied Social Sciences (Nepsa I), on the UFRN Central Campus.
10 short films produced by University students were shown, most of them from the Social Communication – Audiovisual course, reflecting the diversity and creative power of their makers.
During the opening of the event, the Dean of Extension, professor Graco Aurélio Viana, highlighted the growth of the Exhibition, in its second edition, and congratulated the selected students. “You represent the University’s audiovisual sector”, he stated.
Student Ayrthon Medeiros, one of the winners, thanked Proex for the initiative. “By providing this space for the University to exhibit its audiovisual production, this exhibition window can have a very positive impact on our films”, he highlighted.
The II Cultural Caravana/UFRN Audiovisual Exhibition is part of the Cultural Caravana Structuring Program, developed by Proex with the aim of articulating actions in the areas of art, culture, memory and museums in the various locations where UFRN is present.
