The ÁGORA Institute of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN) is accepting applications for the selection of a French scholarship holder, with the granting of a Special CONSAD Scholarship for the 2027.1 academic period and the creation of a vacancy bank. Registration continues until midnight on November 10, 2026.
Students regularly enrolled in the Degree in Literature – French Language at UFRN who have completed the French Language 3 course can also participate. Students enrolled in postgraduate courses in the Postgraduate Program in Language Studies (PPGEL/UFRN) can also compete, as long as they can demonstrate a degree in Literature-French from a higher education institution recognized by the Ministry of Education (MEC).
To register, interested parties must send an email to agorafrancesufrn@gmail.com, with the following documents attached: copy of the identity document (RG), front and back; transcript of the French Literature course; mobile number and email address; and Lattes curriculum.
The selection process will be carried out in two stages, both in French: written test, lasting 1h30, followed by an interview.
A CONSAD Special Scholarship will be awarded to the candidate ranked first. If there are other approved candidates, up to three may be included in a reserve register, at the discretion of the evaluation panel, valid for one year.
The scholarship will have a monthly value of R$930 and may be granted for a period of up to 24 months, subject to the scholarship holder's biannual evaluation by the area coordinator.
Schedule
November 3rd to 10th, 2026: registration period;
November 11: announcement, by email, of candidates eligible for the second phase;
November 12th: written test and interview in French;
November 13th: final result announced.
The evaluation panel will be responsible for decisions regarding the selection process. Cases not provided for in the notice will be resolved by the ÁGORA Institute Management.
