Registration for submission of works to the 3rd Meeting of the Permanent Seminar on Philosophy, Criticism and Society, which will take place between the 3rd and 5th of November 2026, at the Central Campus of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN), in Natal, is in its final days. The deadline for submitting abstracts remains open until July 31st.
With the theme “Imagination as a social experience”, the event will bring together researchers, teachers and students from Brazil and abroad in the auditorium of the Zila Mamede Central Library. The initiative is coordinated by professor Paulo Bodziak, professor at the Department and Postgraduate Program in Philosophy at UFRN, and aims to consolidate a plural space for academic and critical debate on the intersections between philosophical thought and contemporary dilemmas in society.
The call for submissions is intended for undergraduate and postgraduate students and researchers. The meeting has an interdisciplinary character and receives contributions from different areas of knowledge, such as History, Geography, Arts, Social Service, Psychology, Social Sciences, Law, Economics, Anthropology, Communication and other related areas.
Those interested in presenting scientific communications, lasting 20 minutes, must send an abstract of between 150 and 250 words, accompanied by a title and three to five keywords, by July 31, 2026.
The event will be held in person and remotely, with limited places for online participation. Students linked to UFRN must participate exclusively in person.
