UFRN opens selection for extension scholarship in project about the 45th anniversary of the Department of Philosophy

The Department of Philosophy (DEFIL) and the Postgraduate Program in Philosophy (PPGFIL) at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN) have an open selection process for an extension scholarship holder who will work on the project “DEFIL 45 Years: Thought, Memory and Transformation”.

The initiative is aimed at producing and recording the written and audiovisual memory of the Department of Philosophy and the Postgraduate Program in Philosophy at UFRN.

The scholarship has a value of R$700 per month, valid from August to December 2026. The workload is 20 hours per week, with face-to-face work at the Humanities in Communication Laboratory (LABUCOM/CCHLA), at a time to be agreed with the scholarship holder.

Undergraduate students registered in the Single Registry (CadÚnico) can participate in the selection. Prerequisites include availability to work in person at LABUCOM/CCHLA and essential knowledge of OBS Studio.

The scholarship holder will be responsible for operating the OBS Studio during the recording of interviews and other audiovisual content, organizing and publishing videos on YouTube, updating the calendar of activities and recordings, in addition to supporting the production and organization of the project's audiovisual and documentary collection.

Interested parties must express interest by email at labucom@cchla.ufrn.br. The selection will be carried out through an interview.

The project is aimed at students interested in audiovisual production, communication and institutional memory.
