Instituto Ágora opens registrations for language courses in the second semester of 2026

The Ágora Institute of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN), in Natal, will open registration for new students on the 13th, 14th and 15th of July 2026. Interested parties should consult the calendar available in item 7 of the notice.

In the second academic semester of 2026, regular in-person courses in English, French, Spanish, Libras, Latin, Greek and Portuguese will be offered for foreigners. The latter will have its own notice, which will be released soon. This semester, the German course will not be offered and should return in 2027.1.

Registration will take place on specific dates for each audience. On July 13th, UFRN students assisted by the Dean of Student Affairs (PROAE) will be able to register. On July 14th, registrations will be made available to the public outside UFRN, on a paying basis. On July 15th, it will be the turn of UFRN students and employees as paying students.

All candidates must register through the public portal of the Integrated Academic Activities Management System (SIGAA), accessing the “Selection Processes” and “Selection Processes – Complementary Training” tabs. Alternatively, it will also be possible to register through the link provided by Instituto Ágora, by filling out the requested forms. On all dates, registration will begin at 12pm and close at 11:59pm.

Candidates interested in studying more advanced levels must register for Level 1 of the desired language and take the Placement Test. To do this, you will need to select the corresponding option in the Investigative Questionnaire during registration. The leveling will be applied on July 22nd, according to the guidelines set out in items 2.4.3 and 7.5 of the notice.

Classes for the second semester of 2026 will begin on August 10th and will continue until December 19th. The semester fee for courses offered by Instituto Ágora is R$350.00.
