In its 21st edition, Humanities Week reaffirms itself as the main academic event of the Center for Humanities, Letters and Arts, enabling dialogue between teachers and students from the various departments, courses, postgraduate programs and research and extension groups in the broad area of Humanities.
With the theme Democracy and formative action: building territories, (de)constructing subjects, Humanities Week proposes to think about democracy in Brazil, its historical difficulties, its present challenges and the possible paths that open up in its future.
In this edition, three thematic axes were defined based on the general theme of the XXI Humanities Week, they are: “Education, society and politics”; “Space, democracy and participation” and “Subjectivity, autonomy and resistance”.
Those interested in submitting their work to the GTs have until August 28th to register their work via the website: http://cchla.ufrn.br/shxxi/.
In addition to the GTs' presentations, Humanities Week will hold round tables and mini-courses.
