SEPA selects scholarship to support school teaching

The Psychopedagogical Sector of the Applied Psychology Service (SEPA), at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN), has opened a vacancy for an extension fellow at Projeto Apoiar. The scholarship is remunerated in the amount of R$400. The work has a workload of 20 hours per week, with shifts from 8 am to 12 pm.
To apply, interested parties must send their name, telephone number and email to the coordination email (projetoapoiar5@gmail.com) and register with Sigaa, as a needy person, by March 23rd. Interviews for those selected are scheduled to take place on March 24th. Preference is for students who are studying Pedagogy and Psychology after the fourth period of the course.
The selected candidate will work on the APOIAR Project: tackling learning difficulties in schoolchildren in Natal, coordinated by psychopedagogue Ivone Braga. Extension is an important measure in combating growing illiteracy in basic education, requiring a psycho-pedagogical approach.
The Project, which is in its fifth edition, will be developed through joint action between the Applied Psychology Service (SEPA), the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN) and the Municipal Department of Education (SME/Natal).
