The UFRN Publishing House (EDUFRN) is accepting applications for the selection of 4 technical support fellows to collaborate with the Editorial Coordination and the Review Sector. The scholarships are paid (worth R$ 400.00) and have a workload of 20 hours per week, 2 in the morning shift (from 8 am to 12 pm) and 2 in the afternoon shift (from 1:30 pm to 5:30 pm).
Students of Literature, Social Communication and Journalism, from the third period onwards, who enjoy reading, are willing to research and learn about the written Portuguese language and have studied Reading and Text Production or equivalent subjects can participate in the selection. It is also necessary that they have updated their Single Registry on Sigaa.
The main activity to be performed is to collaborate with the editing process of the books to be published by Editora da UFRN, which includes the preparation of the originals, the textual review (spelling, syntactic and semantic) and the reading of the final diagrammed proof.
To apply, interested parties must access Sigaa, until September 17, 2022, using the following path: scholarships tab > scholarship opportunity > technical support > University Editor. In addition, they must send their CV and academic history to the email wildson.confessor@ufrn.br.
The selection includes analysis of CV and academic history, proof of technical knowledge (production and textual review) and interview. Those approved in each stage will receive notification by email. The selected candidates will be referred to the Division of Social Assistance and Permanence Actions of the Dean of Student Affairs (PROAE), which will carry out the final approval. Scholarship activities begin on November 1, 2022.

Result announcement: 10/20, at 2pm;
Start of scholarship: 01/11/2022;
